As 2020-2021 drained slowly into black and white for so many, I turned inwards and to those closest around me and thankfully managed to fill my world with the brightest colour. These songs provided a place for me to celebrate love and feel truly free through such a difficult time. The foundations of ‘Fly’ are more stripped-back in vibe, giving space for SOLAH to do what she does best and step to the forefront with enchanting vocals and uplifting harmonies. Ever the messenger for optimism and hopefulness, SOLAH’s raw and emotive lyrics capture the feels alongside rolling breaks and a throbbing sub bass.
