Aphrodite Recordings APH-26 B-Side Released in 1997
The Original Mix of Rinsing Quince which featured as the B-Side of the vinyl release APH-26, now remastered in 2016 from the original DAT digital recording. The original bassline was too stereo and so when put to vinyl, it lost all it’s weight. This has been rectified for this new master by making all frequencies below 200 Hz mono.
The track samples Quincy Jones – ‘Summer In The City’, also sampled in the Pop / Hip Hop anthem Pharcyde – ‘Passing Me By’.
